Our client is a public accounting firm. They seek a Senior Tax Manager to join their Consumer Products group in their Manhattan, NY office.
Responsibilities

• 
  
• Oversee complex federal, state, and local income tax returns
  
• Ensure all tax filings are accurate and comply with tax laws
  
• Maintain tax records and documentation, ensuring accuracy
  
• Lead tax planning initiatives and provide strategic tax advice
  
• Identify and implement tax-saving opportunities and strategies
  
• Research complex tax issues and develop innovative solutions
  
• Serve as the primary point of contact for major clients
  
• Understand the client's business operations, challenges, and goals
  
• Communicate tax issues, strategies, and updates to clients
  
• Supervise, mentor, and develop a team of tax professionals
  
  Requirements
  
  • 
    
  • 8+ years of tax experience
    
  • Consumer products industry knowledge
    
  • Knowledge of tax laws and regulations
    
  • Strong leadership/managerial skills
    
  • Excellent communication/interpersonal skills
    
  • Strong client service abilities
    
  • CPA required and skilled in Excel
