Dining Room Manager
Atomix, a leading restaurant in the heart of the city, is seeking a passionate and enthusiastic Dining Room Manager to join our team. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing daily dining room operations, ensuring seamless and exceptional guest experiences.
Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily dining room operations, ensuring seamless and exceptional guest experiences.
  
• Train, mentor, and supervise dining room staff, maintaining a focus on service excellence and guest satisfaction.
  
• Collaborate with the culinary team to ensure the dining experience aligns with Atomix's vision and standards.
  
• Manage reservations and guest seating to maximize efficiency and guest satisfaction.
  
• Handle guest feedback and resolve any issues promptly and professionally.
  
• Maintain a strong presence on the floor during service, leading by example and supporting the team as needed.
  
• Monitor and manage inventory of dining room supplies, ensuring proper stock levels.
  
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
  
• Manage POS systems, including maintenance, updates, and organization.
  
• Build rapport with guests, manage guest preferences, and follow up as needed.
  
• Develop and implement ongoing education programs for the dining room team.
  
• Act as keyholder, responsible for closing up the restaurant and ensuring security of the facility.
  
  Requirements:
  
  • 
    
  • 2+ years of supervisory experience in fine dining restaurants.
    
  • Deep understanding of fine dining food and beverage service standards.
    
  • Extensive knowledge of the restaurant industry, both in NYC and around the world.
    
  • Keen attention to detail, ensuring all aspects of service meet Atomix's high standards.
    
  • Proficiency in restaurant management software and tools.
    
  • Ability to handle high-pressure situations with grace and composure.
    
  • Genuine enthusiasm for the restaurant and an endless curiosity for the food & wine world.
    
  • Positive attitude, strong communication skills, and a sense of teamwork.
