Job Description:
American Express Travel Related Services Company, Inc. seeks
Managers, Finance to, under the supervision of Director, Finance,
construct financial analyses and presentations for senior
management, as well as the Board of Directors, the Compensation
Committee, and the Federal Reserve. Recommend specific financial
analysis that will surface key insights for senior leaders, and
place the company's performance in a broader industry and
competitive context. Conduct financial analyses that include
implications on current plans and forecasts and longer-term
considerations for American Express. Perform ad-hoc analyses that
will be shared with the CFO, senior management, and the Board of
Directors, analyzing key drivers of business performance across
American Express. Assess the long- and short-term financial impact
of various assumptions on those drivers.

Position requires a Master's degree in Business Administration,
Finance, Accounting, Economics, Statistics, Actuarial Science, or a
related field and 2 years financial analysis and reporting.
Experience must also include 2 years of experience with each of the
following: internal financial control improvements, including
automating existing manual processes; analyzing investment
portfolio performance, reviewing general ledgers, and building
models and templates for complex finance allocation processes;
waterfall analysis, fee calculations, and capital distributions;
addressing investor audit requests; analyzing business
requirements, and reporting on results to senior leadership and
business unit partners; and translating complex finance concepts
into actionable insights for presentation to business leaders for
decision-making. Telecommuting is available up to 2 days per
week.
Job Location: New York, NY
Rate of Pay: $115,731.00 - $155,000.00 annually
